I have a Dell Inspirion Notebook computer that I have had since December 25, 2009. I have just this week (today being November 4, 2010)started receiving the same message about my battery. Very frustrating. I need to contact Dell to see if there is a recall or if they are willing to replace the battery since the computer is less than a year old.
I'm experiencing the same problem now. I've got my laptop about 6 months ago... This is very disappointing since Dell is considered one of the best laptop manufacturers.
